What an attractive spot Portpatrick looks, Ellen; don't know why I had the idea in my head that that was in Ireland.

And very interesting to see those surviving Salt Pan houses at Prestwick; pity in a way that it wasn't a daytime view to get a better look at what they're like, though it is a lovely sunset all the same.

Had a lovely day there for the Highland dancing.Not sure if that hill is the same one that it took place on.Very scary being driven up a narrow lane with a shear drop on one side.My neighbour also has relatives who lived there .My boys went too and had a lovely time .Tried to make it a family day out when it was outdoor games in the summer months.
