She's had a couple of good nights sleep but it's still a worry - x-rays today. Unsure if the holiday will go ahead.

X-ray inconclusive, so had to have a bone scan - the worry being bone cancer because of her breast cancer history. Elated to report all clear on that regard - disc wear seems to be the cause of the pain. Maybe warmer climes will help along with the medication.

No, Hugh, John still doesn't have the recipe, I am sending it to him when I get time to type it. But, he did get to take home the leftovers.

We'll have to get oot of bed at 5.30am tomorrow, Saturday here in Oz to watch the Olympics opening ceremony.

Just after 9am here, and I've just rediscovered porridge - not your one minute oats porridge. Remember when you were told the only way to have it was with salt, not sugar? Both the Scots and the English were wrong on that one, according to modern medicine.
