    I've a list of names for the players in this photo. Looks like it was taken in Winton Park?

    Yes and thank you Sam, my grandfather sitting bottom left James(jumbo)Hughes was in that team and very successful they were too, thank you for posting it Sam.

    The picture couldnt have been taken at Winton Park. The grandstand wasnt added to above the dressing rooms until 1955/56

    Apart from a few, what a scary looking bunch of men..even the priest looks like he'd as soon give you a 'Glesga kiss' as hear your confession! :roll:

    They could do with cutting that grass. Not like the billiard tables that they play on today. I like the two old boys sitting in the stand with their bunnets on.
