    Brillian news Richard - I love Rebus and have missed him. I am soooo glad he's not coming back as a private detective, that has been tried so many times and usually just doesn't work.

    Yes, I agree and think that would be a mistake.
    I have been trying to see if I can get any info on the new book being done for the tv series, without success.
    If you, or anyone else, hear of anything, will you let us know ?

    Just seen this advertised:
    Tuesday night, (6th November 2012), at 10.30pm on BBC1 Scotland.
    Imagine...Ian Rankin and the Case of the Disappearing Detective.
    Crime writer Ian Rankin invites imagine (BBC) to follow him as he writes his next novel.
    (This may also be available on the BBC i-player for those who can't get BBC Scotland ?).
