    so even the stuff from B n Q contains Warfarin?

    unicorn, can't vouch for B n Q , but if it's not got a high percentage of Warfarin in the ingredients, forget it.
    As I've mentioned already, warfarin is an anticoagulant, if the rat eats the bait it causes internal hemorrhaging. Early signs that they have taken the bait is, the droppings are in a liquid form. Twenty odd years ago the bait had a purple dye in it, if your bait has been successful , you will see this colour splashed along the runs.

    well that,s gony be fun looking for liquid purple stuff HELP!! so far i haven't seen anything as i was out Sunday weeding and checking the bait,I must have caught the wee meeces in the house as the traps i have since set haven't so far produced?? maybe they no like the jam (Tesco,s ain make) He He

    I once had a friend from the town of Hamlin and he got rid of these pests purly by playing pipes!!!!!!!!!

    well as you ken i live in the town of Saltcoats and i don't ken anyone here except ma grandson that can play the (bag) pipes and i am sure they like me would love the bag pipes.

    an update on ma vermin!! since i set traps NONE, i look every day for the rats oot back door no signs, in hoos same so methinks they are awe away on holiday seeing the weathers good and the blighters will come back winter time you wait and see?? i would even gee the bagpipes a go if i thought i would get rid of the pests,
