    Good luck, Bob.
If we lived near you I would cut your lawns. You would have to start the mower for me though.

I thought twice about posting this. My mum used to say 'what's for you will no' go by you'. My son just came back from a funeral of a friend, a 35 year old woman who died in her sleep, natural causes. So, worrying and fretting though hard not to do doesn't help. Having said that, if the power of positive thinking and prayer have any effect you've got so much of that here Bob. //perfect

Had a smashing day out. Climbed the path next to the golf course, which was totally muddy. went for ages up and down the road. came back like a total mud monster, but it was great. quite puzzled by some of my photos though. Lovely day, yet most are very dark and mysterious.

Just returned this afternoon from my latest overnight stay in hospital during which further biopsy samples were taken from my bladder. Rather than lose my bladder it seems much more likely I'll be put on a course of chemotherapy injections which apparently can be done locally rather than go out of town. Course of treatment now depends on result of this latest biopsy in about a couple of weeks. Was glad to get home as couldn't get a comfortable sleeping position last night with catheter still in me. No blood clotting problems this time //perfect thank goodness possibly because
    a) nowhere nearly so much blood loss.
    b) put pressure stockings on me to lessen blood clotting issues ( these stockings apparently designed to prevent things like deep vein thrombosis that's supposedly a risk for long haul air passengers).
c)injected something into my stomach to reduce blood clotting.

The local Hospital is a good place to be especially after a recent NZ$35 million upgrade & top staff especially the specialist Urologists I've been dealing with. I could almost see my house from my bed in the surgical ward.

Thanks again everyone for your good wishes.

    Bob :)

Sounds horrendous. Hope you will be OK !!

I am very stressed this morning. Contractors in the house, because of a new shower we are getting installed.

thing is: they NEVER came to properly assess the bathroom initially. So, after arriving LATE yesterday afternoon, they informed us the shower would have to be placed in a different position, and they would need to move the loo. On account of uneven wood, etc., etc. My cousin spotted a long time ago the ceiling wasn't looking right (as did I). We will also need a wet floor, which apparently is done by SOMEONE ELSE. Never was this discussed beforehand.

They arrived late AGAIN this morning ... I had my bedroom door closed because of DUST, etc., which they decided to OPEN. I promptly went to see why, only to find their tools and jackets ALL. OVER. MY. STUFF. So I moved the tool box and jackets out of the room, and closed the door AGAIN.

There is also now a hole in the ceiling. Er... why, exactly?!

Why are contractors so inefficent. WHY do they not communicate information properly, or arrive on time, or assess situations properly, and expect householders just to think all is grand.

They have also obviously done something to our WATER SUPPLY, because the water is only running lukewarm this morning.

I am positively incandescent right now. I've even got my clothes on the wrong way round.

I would also like to know why LOADS of inspectors are also required AFTER a job. Why not assess properly in the first place. So upset today.
