Loved watching it all, Hugh. Wished I could have been there to enjoy the atmosphere. Pity we didn't do something ourselves out here.

Netta - our wee school had a garden party on Thursday ( they were on holiday on Friday) at which the dinner ladies pushed the boat out with a buffet (ham, cheese or egg sandwiches, cocktail sausages, pizza, carrot sticks, cake, fruit and lashings of juice) dances from the last 6 decades, karaoke, and lots of games. Fantastic day, including our own version of the royal party arriving and opening the party. I have really been surprised at the response here in South Ayrshire - and delighted. Great fun, and like the royal wedding last year, it has raised public spirit amongst dark times.

Meg, it so reminded me of the coronation parties. Would have loved to be there.

It would have been a washout, Netta - all this month's rain in just a few hours.

Great images Hughie watched it all on tv felt bad for Prince Phillip hope he recovers soon. It was all so spectacular I've been watching the Royal family since I was a wee lassie can't believe the Queens age and she looks great. She chose a beautiful outfit for the River Pageant, she sure knowes how to draw a crowd. I was looking at that bridge with all the people on it and thought about all the extra weight was a bit scared. thanks for that Hughie. ♥♥♥♥ //perfect

That wee Elvis gets pampered. If the hoose went on fire, he'd be the first to be saved - to hell with the handyman.
