Netta, I cannae see you in this snap-shot taken a few minutes ago from one of their web cams.

Hugh, they wanted us to go up to Falls at the weekend, managed to avoid it. Was cold enough down at Mt. Beauty. Son-in-law worked up there on Sunday and said it was a great day for ski-ing and more runs were open.
He was packing up this morning to take the kids up for a day's ski-ing. We packed up to come home.
Great views from Jen's home, seven kangaroos in the block of land next door. Lovely to watch them.

What i am really thinking at the moment is i wish this Bl..dy rain would go away,true we needed it badly,but now we have had too much,ground cant take any more .

You just want to try out your new solar panels. Watched the men instal them today in the rain. Must do a wee bit of research to see if it's feasible o'er the road here - meaning will the installation cost be recouped within a few years.

Hi Hughie,

solar panels are subsidised here in Nl. They're not cheap, but with cheaper Chinese imports coming on stream, things are getting better.

Experts here say that you can expect to recoup in 10 - 12 years, so at age 69, we decided to let it go.

We do have one on the roof of the camper-van, and it works very efficiently.

Much the same story here too, John. I imagine like us you can sell your excess back to the grid too, but as you say our age is a factor we have to consider.

Had a nice wee night wi Hughie,Betty,Bobby,Netta and Eddy last nice,did,nt have fish and chips but dined Italian style with Pizzas[LOVELY] and a couple of drinks,maybe going out next week with them for a meal at the local before they go on their holiday.Believe the auld yin says it was his shout.
Hope Betty is feeling a wee bit better now as she was,nt the best.
