    Public Enemy

    Hi all,

Don't get into Three Towners as much as I would like to, but here I am and just
wanted to mention that just saw "Public Enemy" last Sunday. It was violent of course but
that was to be expected, but very well done. Great Scenery.

The main reasons I wanted to see this movie is 1) A true story. 2) Johnny Depp, very good at his craft,
is in it. I did see the 1940 version in Glasgow entitled "Dillinger." with Lawrence Tierney as Dillinger.
and I seem to remember that his girl friend wore a red dress so as to point out Dillinger for the FBI.

In Public Enemy, the girl friend (not his true love) just a friend wore an orange skirt and white blouse,
does anyone know what colour the outfit really was?

It was an orange dress that looked red under the neon theatre lights but Let me Google that for you

Very interesting about the neon lights making her dress appear to be red. Who would have thought.

In Public Enemy the FBI asked the friend what will she be wearing and she replied, "an orange skirt and white blouse.

    Thanks betty
